The 2019 Hometown Heroes Leif Erikson Awards

We are annually honoring extraordinary individuals who have shown imbedded life traits of selfless acts in serving their communities and companies which have a strong positive social impact.

We look for socially conscious individuals and companies, which in addition to contributing within their communities they have also have the four core Viking traits imbedded  in their accomplishments: 

• Vision
• Imagination
• Collaboration
• Fearlessness 

We announce award winners annually on the official Leif Erikson day in honor of the brave Norwegian Viking who discovered America, as we feel that our honorees being honored possess the same core traits. 

We search the entire country for the unique individuals and double impact companies we want to honor with the Hometown Heroes Leif Erikson Award. We both search our own national database, actively map the marketplace and receive recommendations from the public. 

Those individuals and companies we consider for the award possess the same traits as the Advisory Group members that we recruit for local police and government.
